In addition to the normal weekly pilgrimages which are provided by ACROSS throughout the year, ACROSS is in a position to provide transport only pilgrimages to Lourdes for groups wishing to organise their own accommodation.

On such occasions groups will still receive the high standard of care provided by two professional drivers on one of the Jumbulances dedicated to either Cardinal Basil Hume or Cardinal Tom Winning, which are equipped to the same high standard as the Jumbulance dedicated to Pope John Paul II.

The Jumbulance will collect pilgrims at the choice of location determined by the local organiser and travel overnight to Lourdes.   Unless otherwise required the drivers will thereafter leave the group and return on departure day to convey the group safely home.

If arranged in advance, the drivers can stay in Lourdes and provide daily transport by Jumbulance, but such additional costs are at the expense of the group who must arrange accommodation and board for the drivers.
