The Hotel Mediterranee - the hotel of choice for ACROSS.  

ACROSS groups enjoy a warm welcome at this modern 3 star hotel on the banks of the Gave, with 171 air conditioned bedrooms on 6 floors and about 5 minutes walk from the Lourdes Domain. The hotel completed an extensive refurbishment in early 2012 with a range of improvements, including extension of a first floor sun terrace now with wheelchair access.

ACROSS has reserved accommodation throughout the season on floor two of the hotel. Most rooms are wheelchair accessible, and six also benefit from accessible showers and toilets.

ACROSS have provided their own equipment in the hotel including some fully adjustable hospital beds,  hoists, commodes, wheelchairs, and other items of medical equipment.    Rooms are fully equipped with hair dryers, phone, TV and every room has a balcony with some affording views of the nearby Pyrenees.   In addition a number of kettles and cups have been provided for use of ACROSS pilgrims.

The hotel boasts an extensive dining room where three meals per day are served:

An excellent range of food is served, with lunch sometimes being replaced by a wholesome picnic on occasions when the group are staying out.

The hotel boasts a comfortable lounge bar with an extensive range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks.    With permission the piano in the lounge can be utilised for social interaction.

ACROSS has the exclusive use of a room on the first floor which is used for equipment storage, the ACROSS shop, but can also be used for group meetings. The room has a fridge and sink. There is also a small private chapel within the hotel for mass or quiet reflection.

The staff in the hotel are extremely friendly and eager to please ACROSS groups in particular.  ACROSS employ a representative on call 24 hours per day to assist with emergencies and other issues.
