In a warm-up for the Edinburgh Marathon, our runner Phil Cake stormed into the top ranks of the runners in the 2008 London Marathon, finishing 328th out of a field of over 34,000 in the stunning time of 2 hours and 45 minutes.If you are anywhere near Edinburgh on Sunday 25 May, come along to support Phil as he runs the Edinburgh Marathon for ACROSS.
Phil would also be grateful for some further sponsorship. He has already raised over £1,300 - equivalent to £50 for every mile of the 26.2 mile course. Let's see if we can double this to £100 a mile!'
